Dr. Dilip Sharma has more than two decades of experience in all facets of health governance and clinical care. Over his years of experience, he has gained a broad understanding of global healthcare delivery systems and helped in establishing policies, legal frameworks and practical solutions that have helped strengthen the continuum of care. In addition to serving as a cabinet physician of the Government of Nepal, he is the personal physician of the Honorable Prime Minister of Nepal. He has been a member of the WHO national expert panel in verifying the WHO guidelines for the control of Hepatitis B. Since 24th Nov, he has been also working as a Director of the Directorate of Standards and Accreditation of the Medical Education Commission of Nepal, which aims to promote quality and uniformity in medical education throughout Nepal by implementing accreditation standards that are accepted worldwide.
